Please don't.I take mirtazapine every day. Slight open eye visuals, but no patterns or glowing or fractal LSD like movement, it was more like scenery slicing off as you'd turn your head and static and breathing effects. When in doubt, DONT. Can usage of these substances prevent mirtazapine from working?Common broscience is that you either take drugs or you start therapy - so if you drink alcohol and take drugs during therapy your medications won't work. But the doctor himself prescribed me pregabalin to use alongside mirtazapine so I guess it shouldn't negatively affect mirt's action. I would theorize from his use of SSRIs that in a recreational respect antidepressants dont really do much. Hallucinogens (LSD/Acid, psilocybin/Shrooms, Tryptamines, 2-ct-2,DPT, DMT etc, Salvia) Hallucinogens seem to be MUCH stronger in combination with mirtazapine, so please be VERY CAREFUL! Plus, mirtazapine also increases dopamine, which I can't complain aboot. It also, by antagonizing 5-HT2C receptors, increases serotonergic and dopaminergic signalling. It's my understanding that the inhibitory action of benzodiazepines, for example, can generally reduce monoaminergic activity and therefore have depressogenic effects (or, in this case, suppress the actions of mirtazapine that are credited with it's antidepressant effects). They can make your condition worse but not by interacting with Mirtazapine, I guess. It mostly reminds me of DPH with a hint of LSA but you get way to fucking tired at a dose high enough to feel this.
I was on mirtazapine for 1.5+ years. I have felt no effects beyond those expected at doses of 160-250mgs. you will get just as high as you always did). So a while back I posted about how I was prescribed Mirtazapine for depression/sleep and asked about its recreational value. It's hard to say whether I'm a recreational user. I've been prescribed mirtazapine for my severe anxiety, OCD and depression. I speculate that it might reduce the anti-neurogenesis effects of excess glucocorticoids (like cortisol), and protect against stress (even though NE is a stress hormone, mirtazapine does lower cortisol. I have felt no effects beyond those expected at doses of 160-250mgs.At 75-120mg mirtazapine, I have tried this several times, it is VERY strange, like really really weird.
I took 15mg once just to get a feel for the drug, and then 2 weeks later, after not taking it again, took a recreational dose of 150mg. Not worth it at all.I've always found the sedation from a standard dose to be recreational enough for meUnless you consider eating everything in sight recreational, no it isn't.I've read that this drug is a deliriant / psychedelic.Lol no the person who wrote that is an idiot.
When my anxiety skyrockets and I have problems living "normal life" I... jump to content. Other drugs too. It’s like you’ve moved a pump onto your sinking boat, so you think you’re free to punch holes in the hull, and now you’re here asking if the holes in the boat are damaging the pump.
I had some odd sensory perceptions that have never been experienced at any other time. If you smoke weed after it kicks in, you will get pretty high and sleepy. First of, I felt like something was bubbling up inside my stomach.
But I do think you can use benzos safely when absolutely needed (like acute panic attacks), in the lowest effective dose.Yeah, I know that my drug use is not the best way to tackle my problems. I took 260mg to feel that shit and I physically had to hold my eyes open with my hands, had a horrible body load, was disgusting, slept for 24 hours could barely function to drink or piss, fell asleep on the toilet. I have tried doeses of SSRI that made him almost vomit from serotonin, and he only felt normal and a little nauseas. Is mirtazapine recreational? I've read that this drug is a deliriant / psychedelic. The mirtazapine does not appear to affect the recreational effects of the stimulant (i.e.
This includes: URLs, markets, PMs, etc.
I quit it and just kept it around cause its a strange substance. Make sure you follow the RULES.
Doctors prescribe benzos too for patients taking anti-depressant for anxiety or so. Also, very few here seem to like deliriants, and for good reason. Some do like deliriants and some don't but i don't see why you added the "for good reason" part. Or will my drug usage prevent mirtazapine from working completely. Yeah, I think NE's neuro-anti-inflammatory effects are pretty desirable. I tried to research the drug as much as possible, but there were very few reports of people taking doses high enough to actually cause the psychedelic/deliriant like effects.
Been on mirtazapine for 2 or so years now. I don't think there really is fighting the urge to sleep in high doses. If so, what is the avg dose?
Mirtazapine is also the only antidepressant I had a problem with stopping.
People rarely post about it. Well, no, the pump is fine, but if you keep sticking your foot through bulkheads, you’ll still make the boat sink.Your drug use may worsen your disorder directly but not through having minor effects on mirtazapine.Mirtazapine ostensibly works by (among other MOA) antagonizing a2 adrenergic auto- and hetero- receptors, leading to an increse of serotonergic and noradrenergic transmission in certain brain regions. Just remember that there is no 100% safe drug use.

Forget beta blockers as recreational, they have no psychoactive properties and taking too much could cause issues with body functions.
