Mild, actually helps fight the insomnia from the stimulants.Hey Thank You for sharing! unfortunatley it is also cost prohibitive. Mostly though is a swollen prostate that is not common on this. nothing damning that I felt compelled to stop (like nausea etc).In the beginning, I couldn't tell whether there was any effect at all (I was purposely set at a low dose to determine whether there might be any side effects etc.

So far, I haven't noticed much, other than perhaps I am a bit more intense, although my partner claims I am more on top of things since starting it.

Guess I just drew a short straw. Clothing all over the place, dishes, not doing tedious things that I actually love starting but never finish. HAHAHA. I just looked and I have to say it looks like I haven't been picking as much.Don't ask me why brushing my teeth is a problem.

My doctor was not comfortable adding a stimulant to strattera, but I have heard anecdotally that some doctors will do this.I did like strattera. I chose to take my dose at night, JUST before going to sleep, to mitigate the stomach upset (I could sleep through the worst of it). That's my story. The cost sucks.

Heck, most times they won't get back to you at all.Anyway, my side effects are annoying but nothing too bad.

The dry mouth actually went away for the most part after my 5th day on it. Difficulty passing urine - mild and got better with time.

Don't get discouraged if it doesn't seem to work right away).

I personally can't notice if it's working, but my family can notice when I'm on it or not.I already notice a few slight differences so I hope that I won't need to go up too high on the dosage.

Kinda outraged because I really can't afford it yet the effects it is having already are life changing. In my case, I take my Straterra first thing in the morning (rather than some time in the morning) as it prevents me forgetting to take it ... plus I down it with other supplements... therefore with food or drink (coffee with milk).I'm currently on 40mg per day after coming down from 80m per day. My anxiety has completely disappeared and I have also stopped my anxiety med because all it did was sedate me and make me tired.

We as ADHDers have a tendency to get flustered and begin to think negatively anyways. My doctor told me and I've read elsewhere that it can take as long as 4-6 weeks for the effects to kick in. Compared to the stimulants Strattera is very subtle. They also tended to come back if I missed a dose, so try not to do that.Thanks.

Good luck in your trials, please keep us updated!I'm vicariously watching this post because this Friday I see a psychiatrist and my completely un-qualified uneducated guess tells me they will want to prescribe me Strattera (or something similar).I'm willing to try it, but I've pretty much read nothing but negative things on this sub.

So hopefully this is a winner.Overall though, I haven't heard too many success stories so it makes me not want to hope too much.Geez, that's remarkable. I've been taking 18 mg a day for 12 days now and plan to continue at this dose for awhile.

I may do a post on reddit at some point becoz I don't think it gets enough credit. However with my allergies and other health issues I cannot blame it on Strattera 100%.
