The first couple days I felt no effects. I am praying… This did not happen until way into the second month. The physical therapist also said I have osteo arthritis which could be contributing to this.I am frustrated because I don’t know how you tell the difference between a side effect and an existing condition that has worsened. My sodium level at admission was 127 and my brain was swelling. At least I think it's the Eliquis. They, too, have experience with Eliquis. After giving me a saline IV all night and half of today and monitoring my heart rate, they got my sodium level up to 132, didn't see any afib incidents, and sent me home.

It has been hard to tell if this is a symptom or not because I have had existing problems with my hip and lower back for years. I fell down two weeks ago learning to play pickleball. I am praying… This did not happen until way into the second month.
