I tried neurontin first it was bad news for me they seem to be totaly different drugs.....have you contacted Pfizer they have programs to help you with the cost of meds. I had a total hysterectomy in 1982 due to endometriosis. The dr did mention something about my insurance may not want to pay for it, but I didn't know why. I actually take the generic Gabapenten. I take 2 in the morning, 2 in the afternoon, and 4 at night.I have Cigna and the Lyrica is still $50 for 30 day and Provigil also. It took about 3 yrs. Iâve been on this drug for 30+years and Iâm not sure how to feel good about something that has helped for this many years. I am hoping and praying that Neurontin would work well for me too, since Lyrica worked so well. What a difference it makes having a handle on this pain.
