If T2 significantly influences the lead diagnostic tools for diagnosing hypothyroidism and maintaining proper levels (TSH, free/reverse T3/T4), why is there no method to even determine if this is normal in thyroid patients, despite a large volume of subjective complaints post-medication?Risky bodybuilders + published literature alike have sound evidence at this point that taken in sufficient quantities T2 can both normalize TSH *and* cause some of the problems taking too much T3 can cause (which is why I called the bodybuilders risky – cardiac hypertrophy and screwing around with hormone levels isn’t something one lightly brushes off as risk factors… though to their credit they seem aware of the risks). If I wanted to do something stupid, I could probably get mostly normal thyroid ranges with a non-functional thyroid by buying over the counter T2 supplements… but let’s not do stupid things.
