Risperidone is a very potent D2 antagonist as well as a potent Serotonin antagonist so it can cause that zombie effect especially in doses above 2mg's a day but it's shit for anxiety. I've been having severe panic attacks, particularly when I'm home alone or when I'm driving.

8 or a better every day now. I only take 1/2 pill at a time. I guess I'm a little more hungry than when I started.

I told him I'm afraid that my anxiety will cause me to stop driving.

I have increased Risperidone to 0.5 but it didn't do a thing. For years I took it in the morning and didn't know why I was crushingly tired and sleepy all day. Let me know how you do.

That was maybe 4 months ago.I have since regressed a bit and am trying to rectify the situation through my psychologist rather than through medication. I have slightly more energy, motivation, I feel less zombie like. I had restlessness, and some very noticeable weight gain towards the end of my stint taking it (the weight gain and increased anxiety was what made me switch).

Formerly I was on 150mg of Zoloft and I still had trouble with anxiety.I am on 25mg of Zoloft and .25 mg of Risperidone. I salivate more, sometimes my mouth becomes very dry, and I have gained about 10 pounds. It works much better for me than others I tried.So far I haven't noticed any weight gain.
