It has ceased alot, but I think my meds may not be helping with the bingeing. it is amazing and I can't say enough good things about it! I had always felt exhausted while using Prozac, so I hoped that Wellbutrin would increase my energy. I feel very nauseated and have headaches, but my doctor says that might go away in a week or so. I finally was able to get insurance again a few months ago. I feel like I have a hold on my ed and am in more control. r/EffexorSuccess - for redditors to share success stories about their treatment and for those considering Effexor to ask meaningful questions about the treatment of depression/anxiety/etc. For me, the weight loss started almost immediately.
- the deterioration was slow as far as mood stability is concerned (no withdrawal symptoms at all though) - but I sure noticed the improvement when I started taking the two pills a day again! I so hope that happens to me, too!
Then I went to a doctor specializing in weight loss and she put me on this.
I have OCD which Prozac basically cured, but all my intrusive thoughts came back with this medication.
The medication was often increased or changed and I had even been sent to psychiatrists because the doctor felt they would better be able to help me. They would tell me that the more I take myself off of the meds, the more I would become dependent on them and that I may NEVER be able to stop taking them. Deep down, I always knew that something was not right but couldn’t figure it out.
I had never suicidal thoughts until I took this drug, and I was diagnosed with a Major Depressive Episode as a result of taking Wellbutrin.
Everyone is different, but this has really worked for me.
Apparently this woman added Wellbutrin to her Zoloft because she had a loss of sex drive, and well... read it. Terry has been a great help and encouragement to me and has walked me through this process along with your guidance.
I now have an appt with my psych in a couple of weeks to see if there is any modification that needs to happen. I have ringing in the ears only. I didn't notice any aggravation of my anxiety either. The Paxil is more likely to give you the 'zaps' than the Wellbutrin. I increased my dosage of the Lexapro I was on at that time. The first one worked fine (paxil) but a new doctor told me (prozac) was better. I would feel better for a little bit and then go back to the doctor complaining that I just didn’t feel “right”.
I have to say that with Wellbutrin the balance between positive effects and side effects is by far the best out of all the meds I've tried. The only side effects I've really noticed are occasional flare-ups of Dermatitis (an existing condition I have). I went off in 2015 to see if I could manage without. It's a no for me.I have woken up every morning around 3 am after beginning this medication. Wellbutrin Success Stories Wellbutrin.
My husband and I have the best relationship ever and are both working on getting our health back completely.
Hi, everyone, I started WB 4 years ago [i was moderator of this room for a long time] but I never come in here any more, so I suddenly felt conscience struck and thought I ought to add my 2 cents worth.Wellbutrin has been good to me (those are my pdoc's words but it is true).
I didn't take medicine until my adult years bc even though I was stressed per say as a teen, I still got through. I actually feel rested after getting 7-8hours of sleep. I have taken it for one week now.
When our daughter was 6 months old, I went to my ob/gyn complaining of depression and frustration. I'm Bipolar II so it's been difficult trying to find the right combo of anti-dep and mood stabilizer. I now have an appt with my psych in a couple of weeks to see if there is any modification that needs to happen. I use anti-histamines to help with this and the effect seems to be wearing off.Overall, though, I find my mood is better all-round and my energy level is up. I did notice that I got the "zaps" more often than with some other meds, but nothing too bad otherwise.
The biggest thing is that it has also helped me significantly with my smoking.
I started taking the SR 150mg once a day about two months ago to treat my severe anxiety and mild depression.
