lexapro working first day

Hey y'all-day 6. 10 mg at night + 25 mg Seroquel; Slept through the night and felt pretty good during the day today; Had plenty of energy to clean the kitchen and do some laundry; Day 9: 25th Sat/Sun. Short and simple, depression hit at a young age and i never recovered, it escalated into drug addiction and severe behavioral problems. I take notes of every pill I take with the time and date with a note to saying what happened. I am new to this forum. Was in and out all through High School. I had been onit years ago after my mother died-was switched to Cymbalta for pain but after surgery went off it. Similar to many other antidepressant medications, Lexapro warns of an increased risk of suicide, with a higher risk for adults and teenagers who are younger than 24 years old. Take it one day at a time, set small goals for yourself. I agree that many members come with their issues and bad experiences so to have members come back and tell of their accomplishments is awesome. i am glad that it works for you sue. I suddenly feel like playing with my dog.

I’ve always take it at night before bed. I then upped to 20mg because I wasn’t really noticing anything. Could I blame him though?I have now been back on Lexapro for 3 days (taking 10mg for the first week then uo to 20mg).

I thought Lexapro was a good med and I read many good reports aboutEveryone reacts different so I am freqently falling for someone elses success stories and then I am right back to Cymbalta.

Hi. All of the "negative" side effects of the drug came and quickly went.

I did experience some insomnia at first, but I took some melatonin with it before bed for the first week or so to assure I would get a good sleep.
I'm not hyperfocusing on negative things like I used to. I feel contented and actually...happy. Months 2 and beyond: 20 mg at night + 50 mg hydroxyzine for sleep; Hydroxyzine was not working for me for anxiety because it made me way too sleepy. For some reason I have crazy anxiety when I wake up its crazy. For me, it seems like Lexapro helps two major aspects. I hung in there because my MD told me to give it a chance, and I'm glad I did. Not wanting to get up and move-missing the gym. I married right out of High School, and PG right away. with compassion, jamie They were pretty right on. Most people seem to stop noticing side effects after a few weeks. I just started 5 mg lexapro yesterday and felt really calm last night and this morning. The official diagnosis was Borderline Personality Disorder. I suffered from depression for years and would never think of taking a drug for it, but finally I'd come to the end of my rope, realizing I needed to do something or my life was just feeling hopeless. My doctor told me to take it at night because it will make me drowsy, and I woke up this morning feeling "off." The day so far has included nausea, headaches, no appetite and feeling really 'antsy' and twitchy. I'm so glad I took the chance.Medical science is imperfect, certainly. And I've been extremely hungry and lazy all day, I've been extremely unable to get myself motivated to do things. Today my PCP prescribed lexapro for me. too many brain zaps and confused thinking, along with a massive brain fog. To date I've been on Lexapro for 4 weeks and four days. 425runner. But I'm so glad I did try it. Depression is a tough disorder but we are trying to put some fun things on the forum so we have some "feel good" things to read and maybe put a smile on your face.Lexapro,  I tried it but I ended up on Cymbalta. After my dose this am, I feel sick to my stomach and like not doing anything but lying in bed, which isn't common for me even when feeling depressed. What if he really has had enough and changes his mind? Try doing what I do.
