reddit wellbutrin weight loss

It's magical.I know that doesn't answer your question exactly. I’ve been on it again for two months now, and I am steadily losing weight, though I probably would be anyway if I wasn’t on the med.Have any of you had any experiences with Wellbutrin/Bupropion positively or negatively impacting your health and fitness goals?I’ve lost about ten pounds without serious effort since starting it in February, but it’s no magic pill. Kinda a mind f** suddenly having to make sure I’m eating enough instead of too much.I’ve had to skip/cut workouts short because i couldn’t bring myself to eat at enough to account for the burn. I’ve been super nauseous after each increase for a couple days and then I just don’t really feel hungry. 2) No weight gain or loss to speak of. But the point of my story is that sometimes it takes a long time to find a medication that works.

I know it's not a miracle drug, but I admit I do have high hopes on it. It also seems to potentiate alcohol, in that a few drinks feels like a lot more, it's pretty cost effective if you drink at all.Have you noticed any negative effects on cognition?IMHO, it fits my brain like a glove. Been on Prystiq for over 6 months now and it's been working perfectly. Looking online it seems it can help, but I just wanted to ask here as well.I lost 25 pounds when taking Metformin and was not doing CICO or any sort of exercise.Oh, wow. i’m a small 21 female and now weigh like 115. not good. I was literally cooking bacon at 10 last night. People always come asking how to achieve weight loss and when I give them a simple formula like cutting back on sugar they simple say “what else”.

It's a very rare side effect and apparently I'm lucky enough to have had it (the heart, the memory one is common).I got the heart palps and chest pains too.

Weight Loss; INFREQUENT side effects. when I first started taking it, I didn't really change my diet, and I started losing weight, maybe a pound or two every other week. And I can't say it enough, when it comes to the "throwing a dart at a dartboard blindfolded" world of modern psychiatric treatment, get a genetic test. It’s done in waves for me.I’m gaining weight uncontrollably from lexapro and I might ask to go back into Wellbutrin-she tried me on it about 2 years ago but I didn’t give it a fair enough shot and I ended up going off of all meds. Its pretty funny looking back now but it really suckedDank as fuck. I'm seeing my doctor in about a month and I think he will bump it up to 1000mg/day then.
My current weight is 202.

I've since stopped using Wellbutrin due to it not being specifically recognized as a weight loss product, but rather as an antidepressant. They went away after two weeks and never got them again. Sometimes, people may choose to incorporate Wellbutrin to deal with common Phentermine-led side effects such as stress and mood swings. it wasn't significant, but it was something. Wellbutrin is considered unique among anti-depressants in that it is at LEAST weight neutral and at best usually helps with weight loss somewhat. Because of Wellbutrin’s effects on weight loss, it has been marketed with Naltrexone in obesity treatment.

It completely supressed my appetite for the first few weeks which obviously helped me stay within my daily calorie goal but those effects have since mostly worn off.If anything, it has helped me learn my limits and eat much less processed food as very carby food/generally takeaways gives me an upset stomach with Metformin so I have started to think more about I put in my mouth and how it makes my body feel, and if it's worth it the outcome. I remember a few months ago when I took it, it gave me intense cravings for junk too so I'm really hoping that doesn't happen. destroyed my appetite. But then I got a genetic test done which revealed I have an abnormally efficient liver along several prominent cytochrome P450 isozymes which is why I'm so naturally tolerant to most drugs. I’m gaining weight uncontrollably from lexapro and I might ask to go back into Wellbutrin-she tried me on it about 2 years ago but I didn’t give it a fair enough shot and I ended up going off of all meds.
