He is suspended from school after showing up at the Valentine's Day dance with a knife, and when he's allowed to return, he experiences feelings of paranoia, thinking people are talking about him when they're not. Was this review helpful?

It was necessary, it was the TRUTH and it was the only time this season stayed true to the core of this series: that is not being afraid to face the difficult reality we live in...rather embrace it and learn to live with it. I can't see the point in making it THAT graphic. But the show wants to raise awareness to adults and parents, as well as to children. A Mexican official tells the Border Patrol officers ‘you can’t take him out through here’ while another says the proper procedure is have to go through the consulate. One of the agents says he has been in the job for 20 years and adds that ‘I’m doing him a favor’.An argument breaks out between a Border Patrol officer after the Mexican side said any deportations should be dealt with using proper procedures Meanwhile, the agitated man sits on the ground in the dirt and then tries to stand up After the man manages to stand up and is seen wandering around the border area Meanwhile the man they are trying to deport, on dirt ground by the side of the roadAs the discussion between the first border patrol officer and the Mexican official continues, he suggests she call an ambulance. She in turn makes it clear to him that the spot where they are is not an entry into Mexico. One of the agents admits he doesn’t know the man’s nationality and that they assumed he was from Mexico form his appearance. The man who is being deported, is by now agitated and scratching himself after his handcuffs are taken off and after trying to get up, he sits back down in the dirt, clutching a bottle of water given to him by one of the agents. He then stands up and begins to walk away from the border post, across a road, holding up traffic while he looks for something on the ground. The man begins walking back towards the American side of the border but is intercepted by guards and is seen wandering around the frontier area before the video ends.According to NBC, in April 2017, US border agents encountered him again trying to enter the U.S. from Mexico and was then processed at the Mexican consulate, where it was determined he was in fact a Mexican nationalIt emerged he had been arrested 16 times for illegal entry to the U.S. in Arizona, Texas and California, a law enforcement source said.

He is wheeled out on a gurney, and when the next episode begins, he's locked up in a hospital while his therapist explains to his parents that he had a breakdown of some sort. in this TV show, Jessica and Hannah were raped on the show and no one found the scenes disturbing or intolerable but then Tyler was raped and everyone is now emotionally attacked and disgusted. But a status sharing certain anti-anti 13 Reasons Why sentiments (did that make sense?) I'm surprised i even made it to the end of season 2.....it was just such a stretch. Why would they show us that?" Was this review helpful?

Katherine Ryan Certainly Hopes So It's possible from his anti-social tendencies — even before Hannah's death — that he has generalised anxiety disorder, but his demeanour doesn't seem out of the realm of normal teenage behaviour. On Clay's first shift at The Crestmont, he tells Hannah that he has lived in the town of Crestmont for his entire life when she asks him how he feels about the town. Gabrielle Union I personally was surprised by seeing this amount of hate in this scene, I didn't think it was anything out of normal when watching it at all.

That is why they chose for this to happen to Tyler, it might me 'sickening' to watch, but it is more sickening that this is happening and no one is talking or doing something about it.

Also, the show touched upon some important topics like self-harming, drugs abuse, bullying, sexual violence once again (I would say sexual violence is the most important topic of the season: we saw how Jessica was recovering and we heard all these stories of different women who were abused but never mentioned that and we saw disturbing and horrifying rape of Tyler) hence the season wasn't for nothing.
