I use it once at night and if I have spots use salicylic acid. But I recommend you only add BP with Differin if most of your acne is inflammatory acne. And for salicylic acid, what types of products in particular do you recommend (face washes with SA, Stridex pads, etc.
How did the combination of Differin 0.1% plus Benzoyl Peroxide 2.5% fare? I applied the Differin at night, washed my face the next morning, then applied the benzoyl peroxide.
Also, try not to use any other actives if you are using both BP and Differin and make sure to moisturize.This happens to me too!

Why is this? Within a few minutes, my whole face was red. I would say give it a while for your skin to adjust to just Differin before adding BP as a spot treatment. Start slow with Differin gel--it took my face a good 4 months to start seeing a really awesome improvement. I'll definitely not try it again! It is normal that your face turned red because your face is probably sensitive right now since you just added the Differin. Make sure you're slathering on the moisturizer as well.

When you compare Differin with benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid products, the difference is clear. Ive been using a 10% benzoyl peroxide face wash morning and night and differin just at night. I tried to use BP with Differin and had the same, awful reaction. I just began using Differin adapalene gel and thought I'd try to speed up the process by also using benzoyl peroxide. :)I would not recommend using BP and Differin gel together in any capacity.
