lamictal vivid dreams nightmares

I have suffered sleep problems and nightmares for years but now they seem to have progressively gotten worse and I take Prazosin which is to help with PTSD nightmares. I'm going to talk to my doc about this. I know vivid dreams, that aren't pleasant, can be a side effect of Paxil, so I would assume they can be a side effect of other drugs. If that were my child I would be concerned too. But I'm still on the meds because hallucinations come n go... Just wondering if anyone else has that problem?I was wondering why I've been having night terrors! and my mother called the doctor today and the doctor said she believes its not a side effect to the medicine but i was fine before i started to take lemotrigine. Last night I noticed that if I sleep on my back rather than my side I could go into an immediate dream because I was not aware of the side of my face touching the pillow.
